“Deck the Hall” recap ❄️🎶

One week ago, we took the stage for our winter show at The Hall in Paradise! We want to thank everyone that bought a ticket and attended our show, for not only supporting our singers, but also for supporting the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation. Thanks to you, we’ve donated $580 to The Janeway from the proceeds of our ticket sales! 🤍 Thank you for sharing your Sunday afternoon with us, and for helping us spread a little extra joy and love at the start of the holiday season. We had so much fun sharing our voices with you! 🎄

Join us on Sunday, December 7th at The Hall in Paradise for a cozy, winter-themed coffeehouse and cabaret. Bring some friends, sip on a warm beverage, and enjoy some seasonal favorites along with other tunes that depict love, warmth, joy, and everything else we associate with this beautiful time of year!

Tickets are $20 General, and $10 for Youth/Seniors. A cash canteen will also be available (coffee, tea, sweets). Doors open 30 minutes before showtime, and seating is unassigned, so feel free to come early to choose your seats!

Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.

We’ve been quiet lately, but busy! The countdown is on to our winter show, and we’ve been having so much fun preparing in our rehearsals. It can be a challenge to capture moments while we’re hard at work, but thankfully we have a few parents of our “Galaxy” ensemble to help us out with that!

Competitive activities aren't for everybody. Even if your child does enjoy a bit of healthy competition from time to time, sometimes it's nice to turn off the competitive edge for a while and focus on building friendships, working as a team, and taking steps to achieve a common goal.

In Shining Stars, we like to use a collaboration-over-competition approach that still encourages kids to learn, grow, and improve, but without having to worry about winning or losing, or being the "best".

From the first rehearsal to performance day, every single performer is an important and valued team member. We conquer challenges together, and celebrate our success together. 💜

We want our children to see themselves as the stars we know they are - but it isn't always easy!

With back-to-school on the horizon, a little confidence can go a long way. We're so excited to be kicking off rehearsals for our fall production in just a few weeks, and to empower our young stars to be the best they can be through music and performance. 💜✨
