Western Hillel - "If not now, when?" -Hillel The Elder Our diverse program offers many opportunities for Jewish students of all backgrounds.

Hillel services the estimated 3000 Jewish students at the University of Western Ontario, Western’s affiliate colleges and Fanshawe College with the goal of enhancing the Jewish cultural, religious and social experience of all Jewish students. Through innovative initiatives, exciting programs and engaging education, Hillel provides a connection to Jewish life during this important stage in the lives of students.

Recently, Hillel Western and SMASH Pickleball hosted a pickleball tournament for raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House supports families and provides essential resources to children in need of healthcare. We are proud to announce that the tournament raised over $2000. Thank you to everyone who organized this wonderful event and to all who came out to participate or cheer on their peers!

Today is Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, commemorated on the Hebrew date of 27 Nissan.

We pause to mourn and honour the lives of six million Jews murdered by N**i Germany and its collaborators during the Holocaust, and the heroism of survivors and rescuers.

May their memories be a blessing, now and always.
