Our community stands together in deep sorrow. We mourn the lives lost, the innocence taken, and the profound pain carried by families, friends, students, and educators. There are no words sufficient to ease this grief, but we offer our hearts, our support, and our solidarity to all who are hurting. In this time of mourning, we honour those affected by holding one another close, extending kindness, and standing united as a community. We extend our profound gratitude to the first responders, educators, students, and medical teams whose courage, compassion, and swift actions in the face of tragedy exemplified selfless service during an unimaginable moment. Tumbler Ridge grieves together, remembers together, and will move forward together—carrying compassion, strength, and hope for healing.

It was truly a NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. This is absolutely the best group of volunteers we have ever had! Thank you for your dedication and hard work. Without you this event would not be possible. You guys rock!
