UPDATE: Today I had the privilege of giving Sarah the cheque from the Va**na Monologues. Our goal was $5000. In past years we have raised $1000-$1600. This year we raised $6805!!!

Thank you does not begin to cover how we feel this year. Not only did we reach our fundraising goal of $5000 but we surpassed it! And that was only made possible by every single person who sponsored our show, donated items, came to see us, and support each of our cast members!! We are so proud to live in a community as amazing as Truro.
Thank You again to our cast, our volunteers, our special performances, our sponsors and our audience! We can't wait to see what we can make happen next year together 💖

Happy Women's History Month! At A Mighty Girl, we take pride in highlighting women, girls, and their remarkable accomplishments year-round, but this special month provides a wonderful opportunity to show the broader community why it's so important for both girls and boys to learn about women's contributions to history. To do so, all during this month, we'll continue to share the stories of girls and women throughout history and around the world, with special attention to lesser-known but equally amazing women whose stories have too often been consigned to the footnotes of history books.

Our Mighty Girls of today will be our history makers of tomorrow. We can’t wait to see all that they will do and create and be. In the meantime, it is our honor to inspire them with the stories of the girls and women who came before them.

Do you have your tickets yet?!

Tickets are still available at MacQuarries box office until 5pm, then they will be available at the door. $20 each, or $15 for students. 100% of the proceeds are going to the Colchester Sexual Assault Centre.

Saturday, March 7th at CEC Auditorium, 34 Lorne Street, Truro.

Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm.

Collecting donations of tampons and sanitary napkins for the United Way Period Program.

Two gift baskets up for grabs worth almost $1000 EACH! $2 a ticket or 3 for $5.
