We don't have any Open Play for this weekend but we're finalizing details for the next wave of dates.

Stay tuned for Open Play dates for September and October coming next week for BOTH Laser Tag and Archery Tag! Its been long overdue but we're getting Archery Tag back out there and are excited to grow the game.

It is a few days overdue (some much needed downtime hah) but we wanted to give a MASSIVE thank you to the amazing team that came together to put on the 2026 , it is incredible what they did in such short a time!

It was an honor to be part of the vendor hall offering our Laser Tag experience and had the chance to meet so many wonderful folks last week. There were loads of new players, familiar faces, and great conversations had. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the TAG space to play or chat.

We can't wait for next years Exhibition to kick off. Built for the Community, by the Community, we love what the Ex stands for!

I wanted to take the time to give a big thank you to the staff at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre for the use of the arena for the Summer. It elevated our Laser Tag experience and offered a fantastic spot for our Competitive players.

Specifically I want to highlight the senior management team at the RECC who have remained dedicated to supporting local events, business, and our community through the many challenges that they face. Its important to see that this team never stops working hard to help make amazing things happen.

The staff at the RECC are tremendous people and often folks don't see what they do or the challenges that they face. It is important to me as where local business has its foundations built on positive community connections that we recognize the good folks out there giving so much back to us.

Can't wait to work with this team again in the future.

The Competitive Division of the Atlantic Laser Tag League is the best of the best and the Playoffs this past weekend put all squads to the test to see who would clutch up to take home the gold.

Shadow Monarchs received the bye into the semi-finals thanks to their end of season performance to steal the 1st place seed. Troopers Jr then had to face off against Crusaders to see who would advance. After a challenging Event 3 for the Jrs, they came out with relentless yet coordinated offense to easily take the series in a 3-0 victory.

Into the semi-finals against the Monarchs we saw the first game end in a draw in Domination game mode (which is EXTREMELY rare)! The teams looked neck and neck skill wise but after the conclusion of this first game the Monarchs looked strong into game 2 controlling all of the tempo until the final 2 minutes of the game where the Jrs took full control of the match and snuck out a win to lead the series. From here on out the Monarchs had zero answers on how to handle the Jrs reactive positioning and aggressive plays. Jrs advanced to the grand finals!

Down in the bottom bracket finals, the Crusaders awaited the Monarchs to see who would head up to the Grand Finals to try and stop the Jrs. After a series they felt should have been theirs, the Monarchs just couldn't rally together a solid game plan and the Crusaders took full control of the series in a stunning 4-1 upset victory! This line up for the Crusaders previously had another out of no where playoff run in the 2025 Fall season knocking the Troopers Jr squad from the tournament.

Into the finals Troopers Jr was able to control the pace of the game with a convincing win of 4-0, however 3/5 games came literally down to a single point! The Crusader line we have has a bright future with their eyes firmly on a 1st place trophy. However this season saw the Troopers Jr earn their first ever 1st Place league finish after several 2nd place results. This squad definitely will look to keep the momentum up into the fall and we're excited to see if their dominate performance continue.

Below are our award winners from the Competitive division and it should be no surprise that all are from Troopers Jr after an absolutely stellar Playoff performance!

The Atlantic Laser Tag League held the Summer Season playoffs this past weekend at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre and wow what a conclusion to the season! We have so much talent in these teams, I cannot wait for the next season of league to see the competitors continue to grow.

Congratulations to Levi Squad for their 1st place finish after a shaky start to the tournament when they lost to Inferno to drop down to the bottom bracket. They fought their way back to the finals by defeating Inferno in a rematch in the bottom bracket finals to face off against Lazer Squad. Lazer Squad looked phenomenal during their full playoffs run but fell to Levi Squad in the finals, though it was a tense fight right to the end.

Inferno and the Girly Pops put up an absolute show regardless of not making the finals. After a disastrous Event 3 showing, Inferno came out and gave Levi Squad their only series loss of the season! The Girly Pops faced off against Levi Squad in the bottom bracket elimination round and took the team to game 5 in the series! It almost looked like the Girls could have knocked out the division favorites which was an exciting display of skill.

A big congratulations to our award winners who put some crazy numbers on the board to rightfully earn their medals.

Playoffs kick off tomorrow morning but first we wanted to look at two players who may be primed to take home the League MVP award for their respective divisions.

• COMPETITIVE DIVISION •
Cayden Douglas has been a name we've seen all season long with standout performance from both the elimination and objective front. Even after a rough E3, Cayden managed to keep his stat line consistent and earn himself two more MVP stars to sit ahead of the pack at 4 total. A solid performance tomorrow could see multiple awards landing in his corner!

• RECRUIT DIVISION •
After a shaky E1 that had Lazer Squad sitting at a 0-2 record, the crew bounced back thanks to the leadership and skills of Tyler Manuel. Sitting atop of the Recruit division for MVP stars, Tyler's objective focus has helped his team rebound to end the regular season with a 3-3 record. Heading into playoffs we expect big things from this squad and can't wait to see it all go down.

We are excited to introduce the teams for our first ever League 🔴All Star🔵 match! The match is a special best of 5 series that will take place after the conclusion of the Recruit Grand Finals, this Saturday (August 8th) at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre

The teams are made up from the top 4 players from each division with both All Star teams having two players from Recruit and Competitive to bring together our competitors.
