For the remainder of the season, The Trinity Occupation and Shenanigans: Dinner Theatre are playing every Wednesday and Saturday, offering a full day of storytelling, history, music, and laughter.

Begin your afternoon with The Trinity Occupation, an immersive outdoor walking performance that brings a fascinating chapter of Trinity's history to life through the streets and landmarks where it unfolded. Then, join us in the evening for Shenanigans: Dinner Theatre, a lively celebration of original sketch comedy, traditional Newfoundland music, delicious food, and great company.

The productions are timed to allow for our audience to attend both our outdoor walking show in the afternoon, and our Dinner Theatre in the evening. So you don't have to pick just one!

TRINITY OCCUPATION OPENS TOMORROW!

​Step into history with The Trinity Occupation, an immersive outdoor walking* performance inspired by real historical events in the town of Trinity** that brings audiences on a journey through the streets of historic Trinity. Based on the French occupation of the town, this unique theatrical experience unfolds across the very places where history once happened. As you move through Trinity’s lanes and landmarks, scenes come to life around you, blending storytelling, performance, and the natural setting into one continuous experience.

* - This is a walking performance that takes place outdoors. Audience members should be prepared to be on their feet for the duration of the show and are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for weather conditions.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re delighted to announce Terese’s Creed as a special presentation of our Seasons in the Bight 2026 season.

Written by acclaimed Newfoundland playwright Michael Cook and performed by Rising Tide Theatre Co-Founder Donna Butt, this beloved one-woman play is a moving and often hilarious tribute to the strength, resilience, and sharp wit of outport Newfoundland women.

This special presentation will be offered as a limited run engagement, making it a unique opportunity to experience a Newfoundland classic brought to life by one of the province’s most beloved performers.

We are thrilled to welcome Terese’s Creed to Rising Tide Theatre’s second stage, in the Trinity Parish Hall and look forward to sharing Terese’s unforgettable story with audiences this summer in Trinity.
