📣 Camp Batawa families - quick contest update!

We’ve heard from some families whose kiddos don’t head back to school until next week, so we want to make sure everyone has a chance to enter the contest! 🎒

Not back to school until the 8th? No problem! You can still enter the photo contest in advance by staging a photo of your kiddo wearing their Camp Batawa tie-dye.

👉 See our original post From August 29 for full contest details and post your pic in the Aug. 29 post comments to enter. Contest ends September 4 at midnight. Winner get lift tickets and rentals for two youths/students.

With the kiddos heading back to school this week, we’re running a little back-to-school photo contest!

📸 Follow US on IG/FB and share a photo in the comments of your kiddo heading back to school wearing their Camp Batawa tie-dye for a chance to win lift tickets + rentals for two youth!

🔒 A quick reminder about privacy: We strongly encourage parents not to include any details about their child’s grade, school, age, or other identifying information. You’re also welcome to put an emoji over your child’s face to help protect their identity, just like the example photo we’ve shared in the comments.

That’s a wrap on Camp Batawa! 🩵

Camp Batawa staff officially wrapped up summer on Friday, and we couldn’t let the season end without saying a huge thank you to everyone who made it so special. 🥰

To every staff member and volunteer who played a part in making Camp Batawa happen this summer - thank you. From leading the way to working behind the scenes, keeping campers engaged, lending a helping hand and everything in between, you worked incredibly hard all summer long. Every day, you showed up ready to create fun, meaningful and memorable experiences for our campers -  and we truly couldn’t have done it without you. 🌲

We’re so proud of everything you accomplished and so grateful for the energy, care and enthusiasm you brought to Camp Batawa this summer. 🙌

Now, everyone heads off in different directions - some to school, some to new jobs, some to new adventures, and some back to Batawa Ski Hill for the winter season. ❄️

Wherever your next chapter takes you, we wish you all the very best! Thank you for an amazing summer, Camp Batawa team. You’ll always be part of the Batawa family! ❤️

Every once in a while, we capture a GREAT photo of our team… except the lighting is terrible, the background is a disaster, or something else ruins the shot. 😂

These guys don’t just take care of us all winter long on the slopes. They also do countless things around the chalet, property and trails to help make Camp Batawa happen all summer long.

We all wear a lot of different hats (or space helmets) around here. 🚀
