Where Water Rests – Currents of Quiet & Shoreline Reverie

There’s a rhythm to the water that I’ve always found grounding.
It begins far from shore—deep blues rolling beneath the surface, carrying quiet strength in every movement. That’s where Currents of Quiet begins… in the unseen pull of water, where shadows and light meet and you can feel both energy and calm at once.

Follow that current and it will lead you toward the shore. The light changes here—turquoise opens the space, stones glimmer beneath the surface, and the sound softens. Shoreline Reverie lives in that moment, where movement slows and stillness settles in.

These two works speak to each other like chapters in the same story. One is the depth you stand before, the other is the place where your feet finally touch the ground. Together, they hold the full journey—the pull, the release, and the peace that follows.

It’s a shame this even needs to be said.

One of the things I genuinely love about social media is the opportunity it gives artists—to put our work out into the world, find our people, and share the ideas, stories, and emotions behind what we create.

But there’s something we sometimes forget.

There is a real person behind that image.

An artist who spent hours, days, sometimes weeks creating it. Someone who poured their imagination, experience, vulnerability and a little piece of themselves into that work.

Art is personal. It’s intimate. And honestly, it takes a certain amount of bravery to put something so deeply yours into a very public digital universe.

So yes, admire it. Share it. Talk about it. Connect with the artist. Support their work.

But please don’t assume that because something is posted online, it’s yours to copy, use, reproduce or repurpose.

Social media may be digital. The art is still ours.

Be curious. Be inspired. Be respectful.
