Triple Threat Experience Get the basics of all three disciplines through games, workshops, scene study, group choreography and vocal exercises.

Students enrolled in our annual Triple Threat program will experience preparing for and performing in a full-scale Musical. The students will learn audition skills, as well as techniques for learning lines, taking notes and practicing choreography. Throughout the year we also offer many different types of workshops for those interested in learning new skills or brushing up their talents.

Our Junior Program is BAAAAAACK!
Registration opens February 2nd at NOON.

Students ages 7-10 will gain skills in auditioning, learning choreography, vocal production, learning lines and character work. In this more compact course, students will get the opportunity to play main roles as well as ensemble roles for ANNIE KIDS. All students are required to send in a video of themselves singing 30 seconds of their favourite song. This helps us have an idea of casting, but nothing will be decided until the first day of classes. Our Junior program will run Monday- Friday 9am-12pm July 6th-24th at The Bailey Theatre.

All students will be performing 3 shows at The Bailey Theatre. Saturday July 25th at 1pm & 6pm and Sunday July 26th at 1pm. **Please note that these times are different from last year**
Our performances will once again be a double feature with our Junior Program performing first, an intermission and then our Senior Program will perform. When you buy a ticket to the show you get to see both shows!

Triple Threat is not just child care, please only register your kids in this camp if your child is showing interest and/or aptitude for the performing arts.

Registration opens Monday February 2nd at NOON!

Auditions for our senior program take place: May 25, 2026 3:30pm-8:00pm

Students ages 11-18 will make up the entire cast for NEWSIES JR. Students will heighten their singing, dancing and acting skills while experiencing what it is like to be a part of a full-scale musical production. All students will have the opportunity to audition for lead characters, but it is not mandatory to audition if they would like to be a member of our ensemble. Lead roles will be given solo practices for both vocals and character development between June 1-July 5 (Dates and Times TBA). Classes for the Senior program will take place Monday-Friday 12:30pm-6:30pm July 6th-24th at The Bailey Theatre.

Want to join the Triple Threat team? We are excited to welcome three new staff members this year! We are looking for an Assistant Counsellor and Junior Counsellor as well as a Choreographer. Our Junior Counsellor will be taking the lead in planning games, crafts and activities for our Junior cast and will also assist in our Senior program. The Assistant Counsellor will be support for our Junior and Senior Counsellors, helping organizing activities and supervising students when needed. Our Choreographer works with the Senior students an hour and a half each day of our 3-week camp and will take on the biggest and most complicated dance numbers.

Words cannot adequately express how grateful I am that Nadine said yes way back when I had this crazy idea to start Triple Threat Experience. Carolyn, Nadine and I (Juliana) started out small doing everything ourselves including directing, marketing, ticketing, tech, costumes, set, choreography and musical direction. We kept at it through 4 seasons, putting on Seussical, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek and Elf, before Nadine had the brilliant idea to partner with Trail Arts Council and there began our well-renowned 3-week summer program!

Nadine has been such a huge influence in the arts here in the Kootenay’s and we will miss her dearly.😞

A double goodbye as our sweet Kathleen is also leaving the Kootenays 😞

Kathleen reached out to us during the summer we were doing Lion King and after helping out backstage we somehow convinced her to work with us as Stage Manger for our following three seasons. She’s a rockstar!

The island is sure getting two incredible humans!
