Charles Bailey Theatre The main venue for the Performing Arts in Trail and the largest venue regionally is the beautiful Charles Bailey Theatre, with a seating capacity of 719.

The Charles Bailey Theatre seating capacity provides for an intimate atmosphere. All seats provide an excellent view of the stage. As a result, the audience is very appreciative and attentive. We have available parking for buses, vans, U-Hauls and trucks. Our Facilities Manager can arrange for pack-in personnel. We can efficiently meet your technical, rider and promotional requirements. Both a ren

tal facility and presenters of over 50 events a year. This venue is managed by The Trail and District Arts Council under service agreement with The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. For smaller concerts, events or meetings, the Muriel Griffiths Recital room next to the theatre holds 80-100 people. Both are located in downtown Trail and are available for booking every day of the year except statutory holidays.

The Joe Hill Coffee House is back Sunday, June 21! We've got a FABULOUS lineup of local talent for the final show of the season with SOLEIL BITTING, 1000-METRE IMPROV, SECOND TAKE, and a double set by the cast of the GOLD FEVER FOLLIES! It's going to be a wonderful evening of great entertainment, for only $5. See you at the Miners Hall, starting at 7:00 and finishing around 8:30pm. Doors open at 6:30. Come early for the carrot cake and stay for the excellent entertainment!

The Trail & District Arts Council is excited to present another amazing season of talented musicians at Kootenay Savings Music in The Park. With music every Thursday from June 25 to August 13, including four special events, it’s the perfect summer family experience, all set in beautiful Gyro Park.

The series starts Thursday, June 25 with three local favourites: the Trail Maple Leaf Band playing concert band pieces and marches, followed by the piping tunes of Trail Pipe Band, who are joined by B, McJones Highland Dancers.

Entry is by suggested donation of $5.

Take a stroll down memory lane with the oldest amateur theatre company in the Kootenays and one of the oldest in all of BC! The Rossland Light Opera Players invite you to join some of your favourite performers as we celebrate our 75th anniversary. This intimate event will take a look back at our past shows through song with an extra focus on our shows of the last 25 years.

Come early to look through the blast-from-the-past lounge area featuring images and information from our many past shows or take a photo with some of RLOP's more notable props! We are also excited to be launching a limited run of merch to celebrate this monumental occasion!

Announcing this year's Kootenay Savings Music in the Park line up starting June 25!

As well as the regular Thursday night shows we'll see the return of:

- RemarkABILITY Fest with Diverse Family Roots on July 23, and
- Music in the Dark on August 7.
