Good morning on this first day of September. The leaves are already starting to fall and the ponies are starting to grow their winter coats. The temperatures have not dropped yet so the humidity is high. We have lots of exciting events and happenings here at BHCD over the next month.

This Saturday we have our Summer/Fall Derby and we will allow entries up until Friday. Spend the weekend and school on our Marathon course.

The following week Bram Chardon will be here for a day and half to help me prepare for Tryon. Then we are off to Tryon, NC. It is a two day drive and requires a great deal of logistics to take three ponies and their carriages for a pair competition across the border.

We finish our season off with hosting an OCDA fun day on Saturday, Oct 3rd. Please visit their website for details. Our property will be open for schooling on Oct 4th. Enjoy the month!
