Thank you to Shannon Brinkman for her creative and beautiful photography. Here is a little slideshow of Tryon 2026. Before you can compete in an FEI event your horses must pass the jog for soundness in front of the officials and the vet. Then dressage, followed by marathon and finally the test of obedience and skill, cones. Tryon is a pretty venue with loads of atmosphere. There was a hunter/jumper show, Paso Fino show and the tail end of a Western show while we were there. One of only a handful of CDE venues in North America that makes you feel like you are in the “big leagues”.
