Hello family, friends, colleagues, coworkers and those people who like to support others in times of need.
Mark and I are facing a desperate uncertainty with respect to keeping our lives as is. I don't put ghos out there lightly as the sheer anxiety of it all makes me feels nauseous.
There comes a time in some people's lives where we either give up or ask for short-term assistance. Mark will need my full attention in tje coming months to get back on his feet. He is progressing well at this point as he is using a walker to ambulate down the hallways and is able to get to the bathroom. That's about it so far.
He is on intermittent atrial fibrillation, a consistent irregular heart beat, which puts him at risk for another heart attack or even a stroke. I need to be with him, without distractions from outside work, if he is going to get better.
At this point, he is taking meds for atrial fibrillation but may need cardioversion as a next step; that means trying to shock his hear into a normal rhythm. So scary.
We have the added layer of MS which the doctors tell us will be exacerbated by the surgical trauma to his body.
We appreciate every ounce support, big or small. It all adds up and helps us to get through the next few months.
Thank you for reading this. In exchange, I will do anything art wise, paintings, pet portraits, hosting a paint part, petsitting at our place, weddding cakes, baking, etc.
Love always,
Norma and Mark
