‘Always be recording’

When I John Black was in NYC last May for Assembly I did what I always do and brought a portable field recording setup to capture some street ambiences and see what I could collect for our library.

After getting back to my studio in Toronto, JoyCgi reached out about a Nike project and we collaborated on this. I created the foley in studio, and was asked for a busy cityscape background and, lo and behold, I had the necessary recordings for another layer of custom sound for this edit.
