Here we are at the University of Toronto Schools giving students a first glimpse of our brand new production, ‘The Great Canadian Road Trip’!

‘The Great Canadian Road Trip’ takes young audiences on a music and dance-filled journey through Canada’s provinces and territories, exploring the people, places, and sounds that shape our national identity. Through storytelling, live music, and original choreography, ‘The Great Canadian Road Trip’ showcases the breadth and diversity of Canadian music, including Cape Breton fiddle, folk, jazz, classical, and contemporary, by artists such as as Oscar Peterson, Joni Mitchell, Rita MacNeil, Nathaniel Dett, Carmen Braden, John Arcand, Susan Aglukark, and more.

🎉 Thrilled to share that Echo Chamber has received our first-ever Dora nominations!

Our co-production of ‘Contes pour la fin du temps’ with Citadel + Compagnie has been nominated in the Dance Division for:
- Outstanding Production
- Outstanding Ensemble Performance

Olivier Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time has been a work we’ve been eager to explore with dance for years, and we’re so grateful to the entire team of artists and collaborators who brought it to life. Thank you TAPA and the Dora jury for the recognition.

🎭🎶 One month until we open ‘Contes pour la fin du temps’ (‘Tales for the End of Time’)!

Co-presented with , ‘Contes pour la fin du temps’ is an ode to resilience, based on Olivier Messiaen’s chamber music masterpiece, ‘Quartet for the End of Time’, composed while he was a prisoner of war during WWII.

Reflecting on this seminal and deeply personal work by Olivier Messiaen as a powerful example of human resilience amidst the most dire conditions, ‘Contes pour la fin du temps’ explores the interconnectedness of circumstance and artistic expression.
