Celebrating New Business and Entrepreneurship in Our Community

The Canada Afghanistan Business Council (CABC) has always welcomed and supported new ventures and businesses. We believe that every new business opening represents another step forward for our community—adding to the rich and diverse mosaic of Toronto, Ontario and, in turn, Canada.

The opening of Kunjid Palaw, located at 1921 Eglinton Avenue, Scarborough is a wonderful example of this entrepreneurial spirit. We are proud of the owners and partners, Mr. Naem Nazari and Mr. Parvis Hashimi, for their vision, originality, and commitment to introducing authentic Afghan cuisine to the Toronto community.

A few of us were privileged to be invited to visit their new location and experience their hospitality. We enjoyed their genuine, mouth-watering Kunjid Palaw along with an excellent selection of assorted kebabs. Our dining experience exceeded our expectations, and we encourage everyone to visit and experience it for themselves.

Both Mr. Nazari and Mr. Hashimi are true entrepreneurs, bringing vision, experience, and a deep appreciation for the food traditions they grew up with. Their passion is evident in every aspect of the restaurant.

We strongly encourage their vision to expand and bring Kunjid Palaw to additional locations. We are confident that their dedication and entrepreneurial spirit will contribute to their continued success.

On behalf of the Canada Afghanistan Business Council, we wish Mr. Nazari, Mr. Hashimi, and the entire Kunjid Palaw team continued success and prosperity in this exciting new venture and location.
