On August 19th, 2026, Aziz Amiri, President of CABC, was proud to attend the Afghan Bazaar in Ottawa, Ontario, hosted by the Embassy of Afghanistan in Ottawa.

The event was an impactful celebration of Afghan culture, community, and entrepreneurship, bringing together local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community members. CABC was honoured to support and celebrate the incredible contributions of Afghan entrepreneurs, particularly women-led businesses that continue to create opportunities, inspire others, and strengthen our communities.

Events like the Afghan Bazaar provide an important platform to showcase Afghan talent, connect entrepreneurs, and build valuable business connections that contribute to the growth and success of our community.

On July 25th, 2026, CABC, in collaboration with Vegrif, proudly hosted its first AI Workshop for Small Businesses 2026. The hands-on workshop, led by Mr. Ahmed Sharifi, brought together entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals eager to explore how artificial intelligence can transform the way they work.

Throughout the day, participants gained practical, real-world experience using AI tools to improve productivity, streamline business operations, enhance marketing strategies, and automate everyday tasks. The workshop also emphasized interactive learning, allowing attendees to apply AI solutions through live demonstrations, guided exercises, and practical examples relevant to their businesses.
