Last week I had fun painting in the mountains in Switzerland. Although it was cold, I loved the challenge and meeting lots of lovely people while I was painting.

I painted this plein air oil on paper in my sketchbook in August, but only got around to finishing it today in the studio. For me all work needs two layers - at least. It’s a waterfall near here - and a very beautiful spot indeed!
