ModernTanjore by Raksha Traditional Tanjore paintings with a modern twist. Using mandala art to create colourful and unique paintings.

All my paintings are for sale, check out my Etsy shop or PM for information. Thanjavur painting is a classical South Indian painting style, which was inaugurated from the town of Thanjavur/ Tanjore in Tamil Nadu, India. These paintings are characterized by rich colours, glittering gold foils and semi precious stones. I decided to use the traditional technique of Tanjore paintings while applying a more modern pattern to it - A Mandala. www.etsy.com/ca/shop/ModernTanjore
