This is not an opinion… this is an official report issued by an international commission of inquiry.
The report documents cases of rape… yes, rape… committed by tribal groups and government forces against Druze women.

But on the other hand?
Not a single case… not even a mention… of any assault against a Bedouin woman.

And here is the truth they are trying to escape:
This is not a detail… this is a complete moral judgment.
This is a heavy badge of honor on the forehead of Bani Ma‘ruf.
This is proof that, in such circumstances, in such chaos, and in such bloodshed… some people preserved their honor, while others sold everything.

Druze youth… protected Bedouin women by the thousands.
Not dozens… thousands.
They stood as a shield… and prevented anyone from coming near.

Meanwhile…

People who claim to be a state, who claim security, who claim legitimacy… entered safe homes, where women were sitting inside, believing those who entered were “protectors.”
So what was the result?
A complete exposure.
An exposure of who has honor… and who does not.
An exposure of who are men in times of truth… and who are nothing but scum wearing suits and carrying weapons.

History is not written through slogans…
History is written in moments like these.
And here… everything has been written.

التقرير يوثّق حالات اغتـ صاب… نعم، اغتـ صاب… ارتكبتها العشائر والقوات الحكومية بحق نساء درزيات.

هذا دليل أنو بهيك ظروف، وبهيك فوضى، وبهيك دم… في ناس حافظت على شرفها، وفي ناس باعت كل شي.
شباب الدروز… حَمَوا نساء بدويات بالآلاف.
مو عشرات… آلاف.
وقفوا درع… ومنعوا أي حدا يقرب.

بينما بالمقابل…

ناس تدّعي دولة، وتدّعي أمن، وتدّعي شرعية… دخلت على بيوت آمنة، على نساء قاعدات ببيوتهن، ومصدّقات إنو الداخلين “حماة”.
فشو كانت النتيجة؟
انكشاف كامل.
انكشاف مين عنده شرف… ومين ما عنده.
انكشاف مين رجال وقت الجد… ومين حثالة لابس بدلة وسلاح.

التاريخ ما بينكتب بالشعارات…
التاريخ بينكتب بهيك لحظات.

Prisoner Exchange Deal Between the Damascus Government and Swaida

Date: February 26, 2026
Location: Umm al-Zaytun and Al-Mutuna Checkpoints

A prisoner exchange deal was carried out today between the Transitional Government in Damascus and local groups from Swaida province.

Under the agreement, authorities in Damascus released 61 detainees from Swaida, who had been held in Adra Prison since their capture during the invasion. In exchange, the "National Guard" in Swaida released 30 personnel who had participated in the military operations against the province.

The handover process took place under the direct supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which acted as a neutral party to ensure the smooth ex*****on of the deal. This operation is the result of months of intensive negotiations supported by prominent U.S. mediation. It marks a significant step toward de-escalating tensions in a province that witnessed bloody events in the summer of 2025.

أُعلن اليوم عن تنفيذ عملية تبادل للأسرى والمحتجزين بين الحكومة الانتقالية في دمشق وأبناء محافظة السويداء.

وبموجب هذا الاتفاق، أفرجت السلطات في دمشق عن 61 موقوفاً من أبناء السويداء، الذين جرى اعتقالهم خلال أحداث الغزو السابقة وإيداعهم في سجن "عدرا". في المقابل، أطلق "الحرس الوطني" في السويداء سراح 30 عنصراً ممن شاركوا في الهجوم على المحافظة.

تمت عملية التسليم والاستلام بإشراف مباشر من اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر (ICRC)، التي عملت كطرف وسيط لضمان تنفيذ البنود بسلاسة. وتأتي هذه الخطوة تتويجاً لمفاوضات شاقة استمرت عدة أشهر بوساطة أمريكية بارزة، وتهدف إلى تخفيف حدة التوتر في المحافظة التي عانت من اضطرابات دامية في صيف 2025.

مبتدع هذه الجملة العظيمة هو الشهيد الكبير ، الذي هزَّ استشهاده العالم العربي من أقصاه إلى أقصاه، فهو الذي اقترحها على فيصل لتكون شعاراً للثورة العربية، من ثم اعتمدها سلطان الأطرش شعاراً للثورة الدرزية التي تحوَّلت في ما بعد إلى الثورة السورية الكبرى.
أيها التـ افهـ ون من أمثال قبوات وأشكالها، أينما وضعتم أيديكم ستجدون بأن جبل الدروز كان الصانع الأكبر للتاريخ الثوري لهذه البلاد المسماة سوريا.

From time to time, discordant voices rise up repeating slogans of Arab nationalism and so-called “resistance” Baathist ideology hostile to Israel.
This may appear to be a “political opinion,” but at this particular moment it is not innocent. It is a free service to Jolani’s gang.

The truth that has been exposed cannot be erased: those who supported and covered up Jolani’s massacres, who blocked the broadcasting of pleas for help, and who ignored the videos in which the terrorists documented their own crimes were not Israel.
Israel was the only external party whose media published the truth, whose activists supported the protection of the Druze, and who deterred the terrorist government by striking its forces when matters reached the brink of extermination.

The people of the Mountain lived the experience. They saw who moved and who stayed silent. They saw who applied pressure and who merely watched.

Jolani is playing a double game.
At home: he demonizes the Druze and accuses them of treason.
Abroad: he presents himself as a “moderate,” restores a synagogue, invites rabbis to return, and claims that the Druze reject Israeli support and that Israel’s intervention destabilizes the situation.

This narrative is no coincidence. It is a clear attempt to weaken the position of the Druze of Israel vis-à-vis their government and the Jewish society that stood with us in our hardest moments.

For this reason, any Druze discourse that is hostile to Israel today—even if issued in good faith—directly serves this game. It weakens our strategic position and hands our opponents material they can use against us.

His Eminence Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri was clear. The overwhelming majority of the people of Bashan were clear: thanking the State of Israel for protection and calling for continued support until we reach safety.

Disagreement of opinion is a right.
But at a moment of existential threat, turning old slogans into a side battle is not political diversity. It is a grave mistake.

As a Druze community around the world, we say it clearly:
Sheikh Hikmat al-Hijri represents the prevailing will of the people of Suwayda.
Any discourse that contradicts this consensus represents no one but its author.

هناك جالية درزية كبيرة في امريكا و يشكلون مجتمع متعلم منفتح راقي له اثر كبير باخلاقه عطائه و احترامه للمكان الذين يعشيون به و قوانينه،، فهل هذا المتمشيخ حاول التواصل معه ؟ هل من احد سال نفسه لعدم اكتراث او اهتمام اي درزي به و بزيارته،،،، للاسف الجولاني استطاع اختراق السوريين بكل مكان و اوهمهم بانه بطلهم المنقذ رغم تاريخه القذر ،، مع كل اسف ان تقبلو بالجولاني ومن ارسله لكم لكي تحصلو على مميزات و ضوء .اخضر من الادارة الامريكية لابادتنا من جديد.

There is a large Druze community in America, forming an educated, open-minded, and refined society that has a significant positive impact through its ethics, generosity, and respect for the places they live in and their laws.
Did this so-called sheikh try to communicate with them? Did anyone ask themselves why no Druze person shows any concern or interest in him or in his visit?
Unfortunately, al-Joulani managed to infiltrate Syrians everywhere and deceive them into believing he is their heroic savior, despite his filthy past.
With great regret, you accepted al-Joulani and those who sent him to you in order to gain privileges and a green light from the American administration to exterminate us once again.

When U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Washington, Gaza, the prisoners, and the truce dominated the headlines. Yet behind closed doors, Sweida emerged as a file that encapsulates the tragedy of minorities and exposes the outlines of the new regional balance. For months, Jabal al-Druze has been enduring a suffocating siege: scarcity of food and medicine, constant power outages, and an unannounced but de facto self-administration backed by a discourse of dignity and the right to self-determination.

The humanitarian corridor has become the issue of the moment. Israel views it as an existential necessity, while the al-Joulani regime rejects it as a violation of sovereignty. Trump revived the language of the Abraham Accords, suggesting that the spirit of those agreements could extend to southern Syria, and that partial settlements—from the humanitarian corridor to self-rule—might be a first step toward a new Middle East. In this sense, Sweida becomes a testing ground for moving from rigid centralization to decentralization under international guarantees.

The American dimension is no less significant. In Congress, voices are calling for the extension and tightening of the Caesar Act, closing any loophole for the al-Joulani regime. Some lawmakers went further, urging a review of any ties with that regime after the massacres in Sweida proved that no reform is possible within its structure. Thus, American economic pressure converges with Israeli security pressure, placing Sweida at the heart of an equation larger than itself.

What makes the scene unique is that it is not purely Syrian. International precedents bolster the legitimacy of Sweida’s bid for self-rule. Iraqi Kurdistan, for example, was born out of siege and war, and with international support evolved into a region with broad powers within a unified Iraq. Bosnia, after the Dayton Accords, was effectively divided into parallel political entities, protecting pluralism and preventing explosion despite fragility. Even South Sudan, which ended in secession, passed through stages of autonomy under regional and international supervision. These examples are not identical replicas, but they affirm that Sweida’s option is no illusion—it is part of a global trajectory that re-engineers states after wars on the basis of pluralism and decentralization.

The possible roadmap is clear: first, secure the humanitarian corridor with international guarantees; then transform the National Guard into a dual civil-security framework providing both services and protection; next, establish an international protection mechanism similar to buffer zones; and ultimately incorporate the Sweida model into a comprehensive constitutional settlement. These steps are not political luxuries but conditions for the survival of a besieged community refusing to remain a perpetual victim of regional power games.

The link between Gaza and southern Syria is no coincidence. If Washington and Tel Aviv succeed in protecting a small minority through humanitarian and political arrangements, they will present a new model of security—one based on power-sharing and safeguarding pluralism, not reproducing authoritarianism under new names. This is what the al-Joulani regime fears, because Sweida’s success would mean the practical end of the illusion of absolute centralization and the beginning of an era shaped by local communities with external support, not decrees from closed capitals.

History will not wait long. Leaving Sweida to starve under siege means minorities remain bargaining chips, while rejecting local governance repeats the equation that ignited the Syrian war. Trump insists that the Abraham Accords changed the face of the Middle East, but the true test is whether that spirit extends to Jabal al-Druze. Only then could the suffering of a besieged mountain turn into the beginning of a new phase—where the walls of centralization crumble as the wall of normalization once did, and where Sweida writes its own chapter in the book of the new Middle East.
