Participants will be invited into a playful, physically expressive practice that blends improvisation, clown, and ensemble play to expand presence, creativity, and responsiveness. Beginning with body-based warmups that awaken breath, alignment, and sensory awareness, participants move into guided improvisations that explore impulse, rhythm, and spatial relationships.🤸‍♂️

Clown principles—such as vulnerability, complicity with the audience, and the joy of the ridiculous—are introduced through games and structured exercises, encouraging performers to embrace authenticity.

As we look ahead to our 55th Anniversary Season, we're reflecting on the people and ideas that shaped Tarragon ✨🎭

Briony shared this wonderful photo of herself with her father, Bill Glassco, founder of Tarragon Theatre, along with a tribute to the vision her family helped bring to life.

Bill's belief in the rigorous partnership between director and playwright was the backbone of his vision for what was possible; "To nurture Canadian playwriting talent is Tarragon's primary aim." Jane and Bill brought neighbours, friends, and family together to build more than a theatre; they built a community.

We're proud to honour that legacy and can't wait to share what's next with you.
