House of VR is shifting from a VR lounge at the end of March into a mobile VR events + services company.

Moving beyond our Queen West location allows our team to bring virtual worlds to you. By fusing the digital with the analog, we are broadening our reach in the nascent Immersive Entertainment industry while continuing to provide unique and innovative experiences.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jay Tripper.

One of our first featured artists at House of VR, Jay's zestful enthusiasm came to life through his imaginative art, psychedelic designs, and exuberant personality. Giving Jay the opportunity to develop his artistic skills through our VR-Artist-in-Residence Program was a true pleasure this past year. He was selected and performed at Yonge-Dundas Square for the 15th Anniversary celebrations where tens of thousands of people witnessed his creation.

A major force in the art and music scene here in Toronto, Jay will absolutely be missed.

If you would like to get a glimpse of Jay's work, Jay's light-reactive pieces (www.Framebows.com) are on display currently (and indefinitely) in our space.

House of VR will likely be holding a memorial fundraiser for Jay in the future. Stay tuned for more updates.

As one of Jay's last posts said: "Don't wait for things to get better. Life will always be complicated. Learn to be happy right now, otherwise you'll run out of time".
