1. They don’t see the full potential in their anatomy.
Oftentimes, clients who want to get big tattoos will come in for their first big tattoo and minimize one of their greatest ideas. Something about this idea kept pulling them in, but now they’re nervous about how it may look on their body, so they get the smaller version. The problem being that they end up taking a great idea and minimizing it. If you’re ready to get large-scale tattoos and you have a big idea, take the leap. I’m 30 years old, and I have seen this more times than I can count - including myself.
You may not see it but a professional artist will be able to take your anatomy and make it larger than life.
2. Clients bring in outside noise.
I cannot stress enough the importance of decision-making in one’s life. You need to be able to make your own decisions for your own self-awareness, understanding, and self-worth. It’s detrimental to your self-worth if you are outsourcing opinions on the choices you make with your own body. Instead of bringing your family and friends, go to the appointment alone. Do the things alone. Make your own life choices, especially with permanent body modifications.
Be honest with yourself and with your artist about what you want and how you want this tattoo to look on your body. And make sure you find an artist who values this concept.
3. Out of their current budget.
If you want a premium outcome and you are able to spend $150 a week at clubs but can only spend $300 for a lifetime investment on yourself, then you’re going to end up with spending thousands in cover-ups or removal. Save yourself the time and just save up for the things you want.
If you really wanted it, you could come up with the funds for your dream tattoo.
Tattoos aren’t just drawings; they are permanent body modifications that have unique character to the collector’s one-of-a-kind anatomy.
If you’re serious about yourself, don’t cut corners. It’s time you commit to the process.
