To the members of WINDS,
We want to thank you for all of the dedication you have put into WINDS and WolfPAC for the past three years. We have been honored and delighted to provide theatre opportunities to members of Woodsworth, Innis, and New College. We are sorry to announce that due to various internal conflicts, the Woodsworth Innis New Drama Society is going to officially be disbanded.
WINDS has had a great run, and put on many memorable performances during our time. We want to thank the wider University of Toronto theatre community for helping and supporting WINDS during our time on campus. We want to thank all the people who came to see our shows. We also want to thank all the individuals who lent us their talent and time. We hope we have provided some lifelong memories for you. We know you sure have for us.
WINDS last production will be a remount of our Drama Festival show Swipe Right, happening Thursday April 20th in the Innis Cafe. All proceed for this show will be donated to PWA Toronto. Please come out to our final goodbye if you can. All the details can be found in the Swipe Right event page.
While this letter marks a goodbye, we hope in our hearts it is not forever. We hope that in the future some talented students can pick up where we left off. We would be more than happy to help and support them in any way if they do. Until then, this is our farewell.
