Introducing our next Tiny Concert Series! Aline Morales and JER.

September 1, 2026
The Theatre Centre Café/Bar
Tickets: PWYC starting at $6.50!

Experience an evening dedicated to the music of Gal Costa, one of Brazil’s most iconic and influential singers. Aline Morales presents a collection of reimagined classics that pay tribute to Gal’s extraordinary artistry, blending expressive vocals, Brazilian rhythms, and contemporary arrangements.

JER opens the evening with an intimate duo set alongside musician and producer João Leão, previewing songs from her forthcoming debut album, It’s Not a Joke. Voice, guitar, MPC and bass bring the record into a stripped-back live format.

The Community BBQ & Hangout will still take place as the air quality forecast for tomorrow continues to change. However, out of caution for our artists, team, and attendees we will be moving parts of the event indoors! Here’s what you need to know:

- The BBQ will still take place at The Theatre Centre (1115 Queen Street West) tomorrow, Friday July 17 from 5-8pm.

- Some programming, like the live music and children’s activities will move indoors into our building.

- The grill will stay outdoors! There will be space to eat, drink, and hangout both inside and outside of the building.

We will continue to adapt our plans as more information comes in. Our insta will be the fastest place to check for updates throughout tomorrow.

Keeping the beats coming for our Community BBQ + Hangout on Friday will be the one and only DJ Me Time 🎧

Me Time is a DJ, producer, and experience designer working at the intersection of electronic music, theatre, and ritual. Her large-scale immersive works have transformed office buildings, greenhouses, abandoned airports, summer camps, and festival grounds into speculative dancefloor odysseys that transform audiences into co-conspirators..

Also joining us on Friday will be our pals from Indie88 with ticket giveaways and ax throwing 🎶
