A little sampler of a story / narration exercise I produced a half hour ago. I was thinking about an acquaintance who had been ‘outed’ recently as lying about his past and medical history and I was thinking about how difficult it would be to believe anything he said now. Written by Jun Ita

I sang a song for my friend, Maja’s mother, Kasia, who was visiting Toronto , from Vancouver. Of course I had to talk about my experience working on stage with Bryan Adams, and off stage as well in 1992. Summer of 69. I am so comfortable singing this song that I mess up two lines and I sing on through as if it is nothing .

We explore the tragic history of the Accordance, a society that built their entire civilization on the principle of preparing for the worst possible outcomes. We discuss how their obsession with unanimous agreement on catastrophic scenarios—rooted in a misinterpretation of the proverb Great minds think alike—led them to abandon reality itself. We trace their journey from practical over-preparation to competitive doom-forecasting, culminating in their self-imposed isolation in sealed vaults awaiting disasters that never came. We examine how their refusal to dissent, their fear of being wrong together, and their inability to leave once consensus was reached ultimately sealed their fate in a tomb of their own making. written by Jun Ita Narrated by Rhett Morita

This is just the opening introduction to one of three scientist researchers brought together for a lucrative but completely radical research contract by a dying billionaire. I have a a feature script , and 10 episode bible with a pitch deck. We explore the remarkable discovery of Dr. Ernie Kesselman, who witnessed Atlantic spotted dolphins in the Bahamas engaging in an extraordinary behavior. Over three years of observation, he documented a pod deliberately and gently biting pufferfish to release small amounts of tetrodotoxin, passing the fish among themselves in a ritualistic manner. After this shared experience, the dolphins would enter a collective altered state, floating together in a peaceful, trance-like circle. We discuss how this behavior appears to be intentional social pharmacology—a bonding ritual the dolphins repeat under specific conditions, suggesting they have discovered and chosen to participate in a form of group intoxication.

We follow Andrew Geis, a neuroscientist who has spent thirty years developing a radical theory: that consciousness is not generated by the brain, but received by it—like a radio tuning into a signal. Using his revolutionary quantum resonance imager and neuromodulation technology, he conducts a groundbreaking self-experiment in deep meditation that temporarily detunes his brain from its default self-referential frequency. In a profound moment, he experiences the consciousness of another being entirely—a woman named Elara on an alien world—providing empirical evidence that individual consciousness is merely one narrow channel in a universal broadcast. This discovery reframes human existence, suggesting that death is not an ending but a change of frequency, and that conditions like schizophrenia and phenomena like past-life memories and near-death experiences are glimpses of the full spectrum beyond our biological tuning.
