We have shut down our beloved RARE theatre for the time being, as we all had many personal projects that left no time at all for running a theatre and creating productions with artists from various less visible communities. We are grateful to each and every one of the artists and audience members who collaborated with us over the ten years we operated.

We have begun a new project called Children Speak with the most wonderful, diverse group of young story-tellers. They range in age from eight to eleven and we have had several ZOOM rehearsals and these kids are knocking us out with their insights, their poetry, their rap, their humour, and their goodness. These beautiful young humans give me hope for our future.
