Come see Bad Dog Theatre Company 's Artistic Director Alia Ceniza Rasul take on the Red Rabbit White Rabbit Challenge tonight at 8:00pm!

Our final two brave performers taking on the WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT challenge are Dora Award winning director, producer, dramaturge, actor, and writer Diana Bentley and host of season 5 of Roast Battle Canada and TV superstar Ennis Esmer.

Diana Bentley is a Dora Award winning director, producer, dramaturge, actor, and writer. She is the Co-founder and former Co-Artistic Director of Coal Mine Theatre and is the Artistic Director and founder of The Vault Creation lab. Her directing credits include the multi-Dora award winning People, Places & Things which she received the Dora for Outstanding Direction and A Little Closer, and Yerma (The Vault/ Coal Mine Theatre). She has performed in many tv shows and films such as Handmaid’s Tale, Sort Of, Departure, Frontier, Locke and Key and The Expanse to name just a few and takes the stage regularly. Most recently she starred in: Hedda Gabler, Detroit, Knives in Hens, and Bull all for Coal Mine theatre.

Ennis Esmer is best known for his work as arms dealing hedonist turned FBI consultant Rich Dotcom on NBC’s Blindspot, lothario / tennis pro Nash in Amazon’s Red Oaks, and the ultra-challenging role of “Ennis” on the hit CTV series Children Ruin Everything, for which he won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy 3 years in a row. He is currently hosting season 5 of Roast Battle Canada on CTV, and can soon be seen as Dr Jamie Astaphan in the Paramount+ meta-comedy-biopic-limited series Hate The Player, about the rise and fall of Ben Johnson. He recently played a murderous tech bro on Law & Order, a murdered comedian on Law & Order: Toronto, and a jerk CEO on CBS’ Ghosts, who doesn’t get murdered or murder anybody.

The next actors set to take on the WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT challenge are award-winning Canadian actor, director, and theatre-maker Jamie Cavanagh and multiple award winning actor, writer and singer Theresa Tova.

Jamie Cavanagh is an award-winning Canadian actor, director, and theatre-maker whose career in theatre, improv, and multidisciplinary performance has taken him across Canada and internationally. His work has earned both the Dora Mavor Moore Award and the Elizabeth Sterling Haynes Award for acting excellence. Recent credits include Invasion: Christmas Carol (Knifefight Theatre), Boston Blue (CBS), and Murdoch Mysteries (CBC).

A multiple award winning actor, writer and singer Tova is at home in Film, TV, Theatre and the Concert stage. Select credits include Stratford Festival, Shaw Festival, Broadway and theatres across Canada. Planet Jazz describes Tova as a "Towering, pan-cultural jazz-cabaret diva ". Tova received both the King Charles lll Coronation Medal for her service to Canada and the 2025 Equity Showcase/ Cayle Chernin Woman of the Year Award for her arts activism and career.

More brave actors are set to take on the WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT challenge. We are excited to announce 7-time Canadian Comedy Award Nominee Ken Hall and Dora-Award winning actor Claire Armstrong.

📍 Catch Ken Hall take on the challenge Friday February 13 2026 at 8:00pm.
📍 Catch Claire Armstrong take on the challenge Saturday February 14 2026 at 2:00pm.

Ken Hall is a Canadian Comedy Award Winner (Best Breakout Artist) and multiple CCA nominee. He is also one half of the award winning sketch/improv/clown duo 2-MAN NO-SHOW along with his comedic soulmate Isaac Kessler. Ken has appeared on Conan and has had the pleasure of working for Cirque Du Soleil. Ken teaches improv, clown and public speaking at The Second City. You can catch Ken on TBS's People of Earth as Jeff The Grey.

Claire is a Dora Award-winning actor, having performed in theatres across Canada. Select credits include: YAGA (Tarragon Theatre); The Penelopiad (The Grand Theatre); The Crucible (Theatre Calgary); The Crackwalker (Factory Theatre); Arcadia (Citadel Theatre); Between Riverside and Crazy (Coal Mine Theatre); Black Coffee (Manitoba Theatre Centre). Claire plays the snarky but loveable Nurse Julie in DOC, a medical drama on Global/FOX starring Molly Parker, currently in its second season.

Our next Toronto actors to take on the challenge are Anne van Leeuwen, the Dora nominated co-founder and artistic director of Leroy Street Theatre and a founding member of The Assembly Theatre and Alia Rasul, the award winning story-teller and Artistic Director of Bad Dog Theatre Company.

Anne van Leeuwen is a multi-dora nominated actor, director and producer. She is the co-founder and artistic director of Leroy Street Theatre and a founding member of The Assembly Theatre. Select theatre credits include Patty Picker (One Four One Collective), Beautiful Renegades (Peggy Baker Dance Projects) and C'mon Angie (Leroy Street Theatre). Outside of her artistic work, van Leeuwen advocates for and champions breast cancer awareness, being a survivor herself.

Alia Rasul is a proud Filipina and a Canadian Comedy Award nominated writer and performer. She is a member of the Tita Collective, an award winning, all-Filipina collective composed of award-winning playwrights, comedians, musicians, dancers, theatre makers and actors. Alia published her first collection of poetry Super Important Filipina Thoughts in 2021 and in 2024, co-produced and wrote a short documentary 15 Ways My Dad Almost Died which is currently streaming on CBC Gem.
