One of the highlights of our week was meeting award-winning composer Sherry Blevins, who joined our rehearsal from North Carolina to share the story behind When I Become an Old Woman—one of the many works you'll hear at World Beloved: Celebrating Women Composers—and to offer performance insights directly to our singers.

It's not every day that a choir gets to learn directly from the composer before performing their music! ❤️

From moving contemporary works to moments of humour and joy, tomorrow's program offers something for everyone.

Join us as we celebrate the creativity, passion, and artistry of women composers through an unforgettable evening of choral music.

🎟 There's still time to get your tickets!

📅 Saturday, June 6

In our final concert of the season, we turn the spotlight on contemporary women composers featuring local Canadian and internationally recognized artists. This vibrant, moving and diverse program explores themes of strength, longing, sorrow, joy and love through landscapes of forests and open skies, starlight, green hills and human grace.
