Etobicoke Centennial Choir

Etobicoke Centennial Choir (ECC) evolved from the massed choir assembled for Etobicoke's official celebration of Canada's Centennial in 1967.

Now in its 49th season, this choir continues to enrich the cultural life of Etobicoke by performing an annual three-concert series. The ECC also sings at a variety of community events around southern Ontario. Members share a love of choral music and remain dedicated to the pursuit of choral excellence.

Celebrate the golden age of Big Band music with rich harmonies, infectious rhythms and unforgettable melodies. The music of Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, and others brings the sound of the 1930s - 50s to life in vibrant style.

Juno Award-winning drummer Ernesto Cervini will lead a classic line-up of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, bass and piano. Featuring solos, duets, ensembles and the full choir, this concert promises a lively evening of nostalgia, joy and timeless tunes!

Over the past few days, ECC has had the joy and privilege to sing for our local community! We visited Griggs Manor, Islington Manor, and Runnymede Long Term Care to sing some holiday carols.

Wishing everyone a lovely holiday season, and excited to see you all again in the new year!
