London School of Dance

London School of Dance A training ground for students of all ages. The London School of Dance was Established in 1958.

The London School of Dance is a training ground for students of all ages. Established in 1958, the London School of Dance is known throughout Toronto as a leader in dance education. The school is recognized for its high standard of training, dedicated and qualified staff and it’s modern, convenient dance facilities. In 1958, Miss Kathleen Binns, a professional dancer, felt a need to establish a facility to educate children in dance and the Arts. She founded the London School of Ballet in what was then a very rural Scarborough. In the early 70’s, the school changed its name to the London School of Dance as a reflection of the diversification of the disciplines offered. Enquiring Minds Montessori Casa provides a nurturing, child-centered setting for children 2.5 to 6 years of age. The school is committed to building and fostering a community of lifelong learners, using proven Montessori methodology, which has been successful for the past 100 years. Our school is unique in our infusion of a comprehensive arts program that complements our Montessori curriculum. While we focus on helping children to master language, math, sensorial experience and artistic development at age appropriate levels, we simultaneously nurture the growth of conscientious, caring, and compassionate human beings.

✨ A New Chapter, Rooted in History ✨

Since 1958, we have proudly been recognized as The London School of Dance, founded by the wonderful Kathleen Binns. For over 65 years, we have proudly carried on that name and the legacy, passion, and love for the arts that came with it.

We have evolved as a school and are excited to share that we are beginning a new chapter.

As our school continues to grow and evolve, we are officially rebranding as Toronto Children’s School of the Arts. While our name is changing, our commitment to our students, families, and the arts remains at the heart of everything we do. ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported The London School of Dance throughout the years. Your love, trust, and support have been such an important part of our journey, and we are excited to have you continue with us as we begin this next chapter.

🌟 Please give our new account a follow:EM

We’ll be sharing all of our latest news, updates, programs, events, and exciting things to come over there!

Thank you for being part of our story for all these years. We look forward to continuing to grow, create, inspire, and build something wonderful together as Toronto Children’s School of the Arts.

Here’s to the next chapter! 💫

With gratitude,

Toronto Children’s School of the Arts & The London School of Dance

✨ Stepping into the spotlight… one dancer at a time. ✨

There’s something truly special about a solo performance. It’s a chance for each dancer to shine, tell their story, and express themselves through movement with confidence and heart. 💖

Being on stage teaches so much more than choreography. It builds confidence, courage, resilience, and self-belief. Every solo is an opportunity for our students to grow, celebrate their hard work, and discover what they're capable of.

We are incredibly proud of each dancer who stepped into the spotlight at our 2025 Showcase. Your passion, dedication, and bravery inspired us all. 🌟

Ready to begin your own journey? Join us for the **2026–2027 dance season** and discover the joy of dance, lifelong friendships, unforgettable performances, and the confidence to shine both on and off the stage. 💃✨

Registration for our 2026–2027 season is opening soon—stay tuned! 💕

✨ A few more sweet moments from our 2025 Showcase 💕✨

These photos truly capture what our showcase is all about — the joy, the passion, the dedication, and the beautiful memories created along the way. 🩰💫

Behind every smile is a story of hard work, discipline, teamwork, and the courage to step on stage and shine. Dance is about so much more than the performance — it builds friendships, creates lifelong memories, and helps our students grow in confidence, courage, and self-expression. ❤️

We are so proud of our dancers and the commitment they put into every class, rehearsal, and performance. Watching them support one another, celebrate each other, and grow together is what makes these moments so special. ✨

Thank you to our students, families, and teachers for making our showcase unforgettable. Here’s to more dancing, more friendships, and more memories to come! 💗

If anyone is still interested in Dancing over the Summer to get some extra practice, or to keep busy, today is the final day to register!
