Living with Danger was a TV series that aired in 1958, following professions in which people risked life and limb daily. One of first episodes followed Alan Kerr, a veteran circus animal trainer, as he attempted to incorporate three new tigers into his act.

Quite apart from establishing his own rapport with the new animals, and teaching them to perform, he was growing increasingly anxious about how his three established tigers – usually solitary and highly territorial – would react to them.
