Since its inception in 2015, award-winning songwriter series, Four Chords and the Truth, has been taking audiences inside the world of the songwriter. A series of multi-genre concerts featuring and veritable who’s who of Canadian creators, these evenings are known for both quality of craft and intimacy, with five songwriters sharing the stage at once, “confessing” their song secrets and songs one after the other in a round robin format. Now, we’re excited to bring you a new take on the original: a deeper dive into the songs of our incredible alumni, one songwriter at a time! Each edition of this new “Songbook” series will celebrate the work of one compelling songwriter, bringing their songs, stories and creative process to the stage through an intimate live performance and conversation. On November 13th, 2026, join us at the Allied Music Centre Theatre, within the Massey Hall Complex, for our most intimate evening to date as we launch the Four Chords and the Truth Songbook Series with one of our beloved Four Chords and the Truth alumni, Liz Rodrigues. As with every Four Chords and the Truth evening, there will be surprise guests, and the evening will be hosted by “FCATT” founder/curator, Andrea England.
