We’re so grateful to have the opportunity to bring a tiny sliver of ‘HEAVY SHINE’ to L.A.! Tomorrow night join some folks from The Front, along with members of Tiger Strikes Asteroid Los Angeles and neighbouring space Monte Vista Projects, for the closing reception of ‘The Jungle/The Wizard’. The galleries are also open during the day both Saturday and Sunday, so ample time to check out both shows if you are in the area.

Gemini is what happens when you seek out working with womxn who inspire you deeply. Independent creatives who are blazing their own trail for the sake of community and cultural growth. The co-op of Magazine Merchant House. . And of course, our artists.⁣

Together, we see what kinds of life can spur out of that which seems unusable. A warehouse, formerly abandoned until MMH saw its potential for a monthly market. An armoire left on the side of the road. Straight up trash, used to make countless works of art, structures, and frames. Self-doubt transformed into purpose.⁣

Gemini is magic born from collaboration and opportunity born from support. As always, this is not just an exhibition, it’s a community space.
