J.S. McLean Centre for Indigenous & Canadian Art AGO has been a very popular tourist spot in Toronto for ages, but it also holds a lot of importance to the art lovers living in Toronto. As an art lover myself, I find AGO intriguing, beautiful, diverse, and lots fun. Established in the heart of Toronto (downtown area) in 1990, AGO initially went by the name Art Museum of Toronto, renamed in 1919 to Art Gallery of Ontario, and then renames again as its current name (The Art Gallery of Ontario) in 1966.
