Matthew Parrish is a Toronto-based Production Designer and Prop Stylist with a background in creative direction and advertising. After spending more than a decade as Creative Director at a boutique agency, he led award-winning campaigns for major craft beer, spirits, and automotive brands before transitioning his focus to production design, set building, and prop styling.
Working closely with photographers, creative directors, agencies, and brands, Matthew brings a thoughtful, design-driven approach to every project, building sets and creating visually engaging environments that elevate products and tell compelling stories. His experience in advertising informs a collaborative process that balances creative vision with strategic thinking, resulting in imagery that is both impactful and effective.
Over the last ten years, Matthew has collaborated with fashion, lifestyle, and commercial brands across advertising, editorial, and e-commerce as an independent contractor. His clients include Holt Renfrew, Volkswagen, Stella Artois, Jägermeister, Reebok, Hudson’s Bay, Champion, SodaStream, and Leon’s. Throughout his career, Matthew’s work has been recognized with multiple advertising and marketing industry awards, reflecting a commitment to creative excellence, craftsmanship, and delivering meaningful results.
