Winnipeg… you showed up in a BIG way.

Thank you for bringing me in for the first time and being such incredible hosts and participants. I watched every single one of you level up and rebuild on so many levels!!! Personal breakthroughs, mindset shifts, performance milestones, athletic growth, and straight-up fear conquering.

What a weekend.
This crew pushed past limits and learned to communicate through physical dialogue telling stories with intention, movement, and presence. Every strike, every step, every moment of focus… it all added up. I’m proud of each one of you, BUT more importantly, you should be proud of what YOU unlocked.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of this chapter of your journey.
These Zero to Hero pop-ups give me the honor of nominating and short-listing students for the Jackie Chan Stunt Team 'JCST' Action Film Camp in Beijing and the Japan Action Film Camp ’JAFC’ in Yokohama this Fall. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to kick off the 2026 round of workshops.

Good luck to all nominees 🌟🌟🌟

Huge thank you to Mike for being an amazing host, and to my little brother for helping coordinate the whole weekend and making sure it ran smoothly while being my eyes, ears and legs there...OOOOiie lol

Stay tuned for the next round if you missed this one!!! Upcoming locations include Edmonton and Argentina.

Silly story below... but did Jean-Claude Van Damme inspire any other martial artists or performers to do the splits? He definitely inspired my martial arts kicks and splits to the point my parents literally told me I'd have to wear ripped pants if I kept doing the splits with every other new pair they bought me that was NOT 'split proof'. I digress but on my way to the gym this one night I saw this chair split picture (top photo) and thought how can I attempt a new exciting version 🤔 we've seen chairs, tables, blocks, cars what could be an extra challenge? So I got to the gym... It's entirely empty because it was later at night, and I thought, let's try parting these dumbbells and doing a split on them...I tried about 20x getting closer with each try...then I finally got it...PROBLEM was though...I had no one to take the photo! So I placed my phone across from me on the ground, set a 10 second timer which made it so tough for me to get back to the position that took me a few seconds alone to find some balance let alone I was racing this photo timer now! Anyways...it was almost there with 2 seconds left when the gym door opened and the cleaning lady said 'hello'. I dropped back to the ground and acted like nothing out of the norm was happening even though it would've really been helpful if she took the picture for me...I waited and waited until she was done then tried again...suddenly it clicked! Balance and 2 seconds on the screen...TWO...ONE...I flexed every possible back and leg muscle while trying to keep a smiley face while feeling my weight quivering on one of the dumbells that began to peel sideways off the ground...and BAM! One dumbbell dropped. I broke my fall with my hands and butt... then ran to check the phone...the result....the Jean Claude Van Taz split 😅

Also what made it all worth it was when JCVD liked the picture! Would you try this?
