Saved by the kiln wash! 💧🫟 Drip, drip, no worries! Did you know that kiln wash is a protective coating that is painted onto the kiln shelves. If glaze drips or runs, it can prevent the glaze from permanently sticking to the shelves and can be chipped off easily.

This is also a great reminder to try to ensure your glaze is not too thick, to help reduce dripping and runs.
