Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Canadian Film Fest reflects on the first storytellers of these lands. We are grateful to all of the Indigenous filmmakers who have shared, and continue to share, their work with the festival, including:
🎬 Louise Flaherty, MANGITTATUARJUK (THE GNAWER OF ROCKS)
🎬 Caroline Monnet, PIDIKWE
🎬 Lindsay Chewanish, NUUHKUUM UUMICHIWAAPIM (MY GRANDMOTHER’S TIPI)
🎬 Trevor Cameron,
We encourage everyone in the CFF community to engage with Indigenous content, whether from our alumni or from the communities who have long been doing this work, like imagineNATIVE and .
