September 30th is Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We encourage everyone in our community to take a moment for reflection as we honour the survivors of residential schools and remember the children who never returned home.

At rehearsal today, Singing Out members wore orange shirts as a symbol of our commitment towards truth and reconciliation. Reconciliation is a collective responsibility to confront and repair past harms and ongoing injustices. To learn more about ways you can take action, visit Orange Shirt Society and National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation
