Enjoying the day in Guelph with Jake! ✨
Feeling incredibly grateful and inspired to be teaching and choreographing for the Guelph Youth Dance Company alongside 20 incredibly talented dancers!

A heartfelt thank you to Catrina von Radecki and Tara Butler for this wonderful opportunity. I’m deeply honoured and thankful to be part of this experience.

Feeling inspired, motivated, and creatively energized! 💫

Happy Wednesday, everyone! ☀️
I just had a wonderful time catching up with my friend Leonardo, or, as I like to call him, Leo! 😊 He is visiting from Vancouver, and our reunion brought back so many wonderful memories of our collaborations over the years.

I was especially remembering our work together for the 15th Anniversary at the Rotunda at Toronto City Hall, as well as our experiences in “Brazil,The Land of Tears and Soul,” where Leo took some amazing photographs, and “Testosterone,” where he filmed the dance.

It’s always special to reconnect with someone who has been part of so many meaningful moments in my artistic journey. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷

Happy Tuesday, everyone! ✨
This is a reminder to myself to keep going, keep creating, and keep sharing my gift with everyone around me. ❤️

Soon, I will be performing a few solos to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Newton Moraes Dance Theatre!

This striking image is from Journey of a Thousand Rivers, one of the first solos I created back in 1994.

So much has changed since then. I’ve had to adapt and evolve with a new environment, and my body may not be as mobile as it once was. But the energy, passion, and love I have for the arts are burning brighter than ever! 🔥

Soon, I’ll be announcing the dates. For now, I’m preparing my body, my mind, and my spirit for this new show.

The journey continues. ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷

Happy Wednesday, beautiful people!!!!! ☀️❤️
Wishing each and every one of you, my wonderful friends, a phenomenal day filled with happiness, positivity, and good vibes!

This photo popped up in my Facebook Memories today from back when I was working as a concierge at 65 Scadding Avenue. I had the opportunity to meet and get to know so many amazing people there, and along the way, I made some truly wonderful friends and lasting memories.

I’m grateful for the people I’ve met throughout my journey and for the friendships that continue to hold a special place in my heart. ❤️

Wishing you all a beautiful Wednesday! Stay blessed, stay positive, and keep smiling! 😊✨❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷

A few days ago, I had an absolute blast catching up with my lovely friend and colleague, Daniela! ❤️

We first met during COVID, when she performed a solo dance piece created by the acclaimed choreographer Carlos Rivera Martinez at the Vanguardia Dance Festival. I was immediately impressed by her incredible talent, artistry, personality, and passion for dance.

We soon became friends, and Daniela became a wonderful source of inspiration and an essential part of Life Under My Skin, created for the 25th anniversary of Newton Moraes Dance Theatre, presented at the Fleck Dance Theatre in 2022 with the support from Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts.

Now Daniela is living in Toronto, so I’m hoping we’ll have many more opportunities to see each other and share our love of dance! 💃❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷
