Today, we wear orange shirts to remember the more than 150 years of the residential school system and the hundreds of thousands of Indigenous children who were forced to attend, separated from their families, and stripped of their languages, cultures, and traditions.

We wear orange to honour the strength and resilience of survivors, and to remember those who never made it home.

Remembering must also mean taking action. We must continue to hold our governments accountable and pressure them to fully implement the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, so that truth, justice, and meaningful reconciliation are more than words.

Look what we've been up to! We are proud to present our newest mixed-media show, M is for Me!

On "M is for Me" kids celebrate what it means to be Canadian and why they love being who they are in their own words. Our youngest citizens share their immigration stories, languages, and wonderful diversity, one alphabet letter at a time.

Catch M is for Me launching on TVOkids October 23, 2026, and on Knowledge Kids in early 2027.
