December 23, 2021
Dear Paperhouse friends,
In light of the recent rapid increase of COVID cases in Toronto, coupled with the highly contagious Omicron variant, Paperhouse has decided to temporarily return to “Lockdown”, to better protect our staff, members, and community, and to do our part mitigating the spread of the virus during this critical window of opportunity.
Please review the adjusted guidelines for the general public here: https://paperhousestudio.com/covid19-update, and for members here: https://paperhousestudio.com/members-guidelines.
Please see the following details in regards to providing vaccination proof here: https://paperhousestudio.com/vaccine-policy.
As of December 24th, we have decided to move into “Lockdown” (please note: our “phases” do not align with the province’s “steps”).
Lockdown, before phase 1
Starting December 24th, 2021, at 12:01am, until January 7th, 2022*
- 1 person / 1 household in-studio maximum
- Key-holding members only
- No guests / visitors allowed
- Group/private classes, events, and programming prohibited.
- Health screening required.
Members only:
- Limited bulk booking of studio time—you cannot book more than 10 days of studio time at once.
* Projected timelines are determined by a number of factors as outlined by the province and by our collective’s comfort and assessment.
All members and staff are required to fill in Artscape’s Health Screening Form upon entry to AYP. Using your own digital device is ideal, however there will be printed forms and a publicly used iPad available. We are required to fill it in on the day of, upon entry of the building and to also fill in Paperhouse’s own contact tracing form. This allows us to do our part in tracking for both the studio and AYP.
With warmth,
Flora and Emily
