The images in this video don’t directly mirror the lyrics, but they reflect the idea of relativity—how we orbit around one another. At 186,000 miles per second—the speed of light—the experiences of the 1960s were shaped by television, radar, rockets, and space travel. Scientific innovation and nuclear armament reached the height of human exploration—pushing journeys into outer space while simultaneously introducing the threat of mass destruction. It makes me wonder - do we just continue to repeat, or are we capable of arriving at peace without the threat of nuclear annihilation ?
In the Theory of Relativity, the speed of light remains constant while everything else bends around it. Sometimes love, can feel this way too.
