FUSION - GTP's Actor-Musician Scene Study Adventure
starts Monday.
NEW! Single class rate available.
Facilitated by Donna Garner and Simon Henderson, this class will explore the art of Actor-Musicianship, and its relationship to text in plays, musicals, and other written performance works.
Participants can expect:
-scene work and text study in pairs or groups, with or without underscoring
-improvisation on your instruments
-sight reading of existing musical scores
-non-traditional casting of scenes for an equitable and inclusive ensemble
-an open minded approach to the work, and a joyous exploration of the possibilities for Actor-Musicianship fusion.
Class will be held weekly for 6 weeks from Monday April 20th through June 1st, from 7-10PM.
There will be no class on the holiday Monday, May 18th.
Location: Woodbine Heights Baptist Church, (side door), 1171 Woodbine Avenue, Toronto, ON M4C 4E1.

Cost: $210 plus HST for 6 weeks, single class rate $40 plus HST
Note: This is a class for adult (18+) Actor-Musicians ready to explore and create with colleagues of all ages, identities and life experience.
