The University of Toronto Campus Philharmonic Orchestra is a newly formed campus-wide orchestra for non-music majors (undergrad and graduate), staff, faculty, and community members who play an orchestral instrument and enjoy playing music! The orchestra is co-conducted by graduate students Lorenzo Guggenheim (Director and Founder), Shawn Bennett, and Émile Grou, and supervised by Uri Mayer Directo

Hello everyone,

The UofT Campus Philharmonic Orchestra is back this fall, and we’re inviting students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community musicians who play orchestral instruments to join us.

(Spaces are limited by instrument; please wait for confirmation before attending rehearsal.)

🎶 Level: Non-auditioned, but players should be comfortable with music at the level of Beethoven or Tchaikovsky symphonies.

🗓 Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:30–9:30 pm, Faculty of Music (EJB), starting September 25.

🎻 Concert: Friday, November 28.

We especially welcome tuba, bass, bassoon, violin, and cello players. Only a few spaces remain for flute and clarinet.
