Another unhinged circle around the sun.
I’ve learned so much:
I’ll go anywhere, any how (plane, train, automobile) to spend time with the ones that I love the most.
I call my parents all the time, just to hear their voices & to feel that unconditional love. You stop taking this stuff for granted and appreciate that your dad will STILL try to parent you a little.
I made new friends (they call me “mom” yet they’re so much smarter and mature than me), in the scariest of places (the gym).
I was able to cherish the friend I was lucky enough to know until the ridiculously early end. What a devastating privilege.
We got a puppy & we didn’t give him back, even if he ate all my running shoes (he did me a favor).
I love that my happy place has always been on a boat (any boat, anywhere) with my dog and my people.
I can’t apologize for being lucky enough to do a job I love with clients who have grown up along side me, and have seen me become a mother & a wife, and in turn I get to see them grow up too. (It’s the greatest❤️)
I hope that the next year, the next 51 years, get to be as unhinged and amazing as the past 51. (And I hope that we keep doing all these amazing things together because every day is my birthday with you.)
