Finally!! I am once again teaching a workshop!! And it's FREE!! :) Saturday February 4th 1:45-3:45pm I am teaching a 2 hour Mask Workshop at the FOOT Festival at the University of Toronto. It will only be a taster of the work, but if you are interested in exploring come check it out and sign up through FOOT. NEXT UP: I will be offering a longer intensive exploration of mask work in a Spring workshop - let me know if you are interested in this opportunity - it will be the first chance in two years for me to offer workshops due to my PhD studies. SHOUT OUT TO ALL ACTORS/PERFORMERS: Brook Noble of BrookFit is an AMAZING Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor and I highly recommend her for anyone interested in getting fit and building strength and endurance in an environment full of joy, pleasure and laughter - three elements that are essential in my own work as you know if you have worked with me, yet they are often lacking in the fitness world. Not so with Brook - she creates an environment that is hard core and rigorously demanding yet highly supportive and motivating, and there is a fantastic community of people who attend her bootcamps, which makes it fun to endure the agony of having our asses collectively kicked by Brook every morning! smile emoticon Brook was a professional ballet dancer with the Winnipeg Ballet and therefore knows how to train performers not just jocks - so all you actors who work with me and know how important it is to train your body and have a strong, flexible physicality ready to leap into action inside your acting, get yourselves to a class with Brook and come sweat and holler beside me!!
