An unforgettable night in London. 🇬🇧🎶

A special moment following our performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Alexandra Palace on Friday, August 21.

After the final notes filled the hall, we were met with an extraordinary four-minute standing ovation. To everyone who stood, applauded, and shared this moment with us — thank you. The warmth and enthusiasm of the UK audience made this evening one we will remember for a very long time.

It was an honour for Mandle Cheung to stand on the podium with the remarkable musicians of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and to bring Mahler’s monumental journey of struggle, hope, and resurrection to London.

Thank you to the RPO, everyone involved in bringing this performance to life, and especially to our wonderful audience for such an incredible welcome.

Toronto to London — what a journey. And there is much more still to come. 🎶

What an incredible evening.

To everyone who joined us at our outdoor concert last Friday—thank you. Your enthusiasm, energy, and support made it a truly unforgettable night. Seeing thousands of music lovers come together to experience a live symphony under the open sky was something we’ll cherish for years to come.

To our outstanding orchestra, choir, soloists, volunteers, staff, and everyone who helped make this performance possible, thank you for your passion and dedication.

And to those who couldn’t make it this time—we missed you! We hope you’ll join us at our next concert. There’s nothing quite like experiencing the power and emotion of a live orchestra in person, and we’d love to share that experience with you.

More than 200 professional musicians and singers are set to take over Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre for The Sound of Resurrection Under the Stars. The open-air performance will feature Mahler’s Second Symphony, performed by the Mandle Philharmonic and Mandle Phil Choir. ⁠

The 90-minute concert will bring together a full orchestra, chorus and soloists for an audience of up to 16,000 along Toronto’s waterfront. The performance begins with a funeral march before building toward a thunderous choral finale centred on resurrection and rebirth. ⁠
