A Night of Resilience, Art, and Community 🌿💃

After a day of uncertain weather, Dances at the Bay officially opened last night at Bayfront Park—and what an evening it became.

We are deeply grateful to the dedicated leaders and volunteers of the HCA Society, who worked tirelessly through the day’s challenges to create a beautiful outdoor stage where our dancers could perform with confidence. Your commitment transformed a difficult day into a memorable celebration of dance and community.

Dances at the Bay - Free Hamilton Dance Festival

Join us for a vibrant free celebration of community and dance in Hamilton. Each day starts with a beginner friendly free line-dancing workshop at 6:30 PM.

“No Light Alone” contemplates the paradox of becoming: that nothing fully arrives into itself alone. Through the meeting of flame, breath, and lotus, the work traces how identity is shaped in relation, how conflict clarifies need, and how light itself is less an object than an event of togetherness.

What blooms is not individual triumph, but the quiet revelation that existence is mutual.
