End of our first Coco Collective tour but the memories are priceless. Laughter, movement, song and music are an integrated feature in our performance reunions. The collaboration over the decades among all of us are a blessing!

Coco Collective

Calabash is a transatlantic tapestry about the humanity, relationships, and practicality of African and Caribbean communities’ use of their vessels. This inspired African-diasporic dance-music work was developed as a commissioned artist response to Kenyan-British ceramist, Magdalene Odundu’s largest North American exhibition: Dialogue with Objects at Gardiner Museum in March 2024.
