Dwight Hybrid has been a highly successful premier Alternative Nightlife Entertainment Event Producer, Premier DJ, and Broadcaster since 1992 based in Toronto, Canada. Producing, DJing, and hosting long term residencies in core scene defining venues Round Venue, Neutral, Funhaus, Dance Cave, and Catch 22 to mega-clubs Tattoo Rock Parlour, The Annex Wreckroom, The Phoenix, Whiskey Saigon, The Limelight, The Kingdom, The Joker, and Club 107 with the city's biggest alternative club nights. As well as festival stages at Lollapalooza, tour stops with the MTV Awards, various North American clubs, and concert stage opening DJ sets for Fatboy Slim, Area One & Two Festivals, Beastie Boys, Aesthetic Perfection, Julien-K, OKGO, and many others. Spanning six successful years from Dec. 1998 – Dec. 2004 as Producer/Programmer/DJ/Fill-in Announcer of the 102.1 The Edge Live-To-Air weekend building them to their highest ratings as radio shows and club attendances in their histories winning Best Club DJ Awards in 2000 and 2001 during this time. Extended roles included hosting a who’s who of artists for a variety of live and promotional events for Nine Inch Nails, Tool, She Wants Revenge, Beastie Boys, System Of A Down, Queens Of The Stone Age, and many countless others. Supporting up and coming local iconic artists as part of club and live events. As well as coordinating promotional events with major record labels for Special Events, Advance Listening Events, and Record Release Parties. Presenting the hugely successful monthly HYBRID Club Night since 2004 with a progressive DJing approach in Alternative, Industrial, EBM, Electronic, Indie, Alternapop, Synth & New Wave, and Alt. formats in a variety of HYBRID Resident Nights and Special Events at different venues.
