We’re thrilled to announce the 105 exhibitors participating in the 27th edition of Art Toronto, Canada’s international fair for modern and contemporary art. This year’s fair brings together galleries, organizations, and cultural institutions from across Canada and around the world.

With more than half of the exhibitors representing Canadian galleries, Art Toronto 2026 celebrates the strength of the country’s art scene while fostering global connections. Leading galleries from the United States, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Europe will join the fair, presenting thousands of works across painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, installation, and new media.

TIAN Contemporain presents "Holding Traces," a group exhibition featuring the works of Sarah Bertrand-Hamel, Mylène Boisvert, and Ingrid Syage Tremblay on view in Montreal until August 22.

Through meticulous handwork and material experimentation, these artists explore paper and textiles as living materials shaped by memory, transformation, and care. Their chosen medium of paper acts not only as a surface, but as a fibre with its own histories—woven through domestic spaces, plant life, gestures of making, and acts of renewal. Their practices invite viewers to consider how fragile materials can carry collective narratives, preserve traces of lived experience, and embody the continuous cycles of change that connect people, place, and the natural world.

MKG127 presents "Kind Of / Sort Of," a group exhibition featuring works by Sara Cwynar, Bramwell Enan, Brubey Hu, Ginette Legaré, Micah Lexier, and Maximilian Suillerot Wilke. On view now through August 22.

"This index of paintings, images, sculptures, and arrangements of found ephemera included in Kind Of / Sort Of consider fiction as a peculiar resemblance of the truth. Sourcing memories and objects from daily life, they reorient the quotidian logic of the material world towards expressive, new directions. If red strings of fate lead us directly through the physical world toward one another, this exhibition proposes that the fibres themselves are sprawling, technicolour, multiplicitous, yet entangled: Inviting artists to playfully sort and re-arrange the familiar with wonder, introspection, curiosity, and pleasure."

“love”

to experience shifting illusions that are constructed as a way to deal with the post-haste terror of heartbreak. to lean on a newfound philosophy and see it through is to experience love, not necessarily with certainty but with a desire to understand and feel. it is represented here as pop art psychedelia that you have projected onto before and will again. you listen to that song that sends you through to the other side or was it— that movie, that book, that friend, that party? to also consider what portion of heartbreak is to remain private or intimate and explode any notions of it. to swallow the ache with this unknowing color that calls to me like a psychic vision. to be an artist that has to consider “love” for the first time.
